Prof. Dr. Jolanta Kowal Prof. Jolanta Kowal, Ph.D., D.Sc., is a certified Jungian analyst and supervisor (IAAP), Associate Certified Coach (ICF), and full professor at the University of Wrocław and the Head of the Center for Personality Development at the Institute of Psychology, at the Institute of Psychology. With an interdisciplinary background in psychology, social sciences, economics, and management, her work explores the intersection of analytical psychology, symbolic processes, and socio-economic transformation.
She currently serves as President of the Polish Association for Analytical Psychology (PTPA), Senior President of the Polish AIS Chapter, Board Member of AJAP, and Vice President for Research at SIG GLOBDEV (AIS). Her research integrates Jungian depth psychology, economic psychology, and the cultural dynamics of ICT within analytical and developmental frameworks.
Prof. Kowal has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and has presented at leading international conferences such as AMCIS, HICSS, and IEEE. She is also a member of editorial boards and a guest editor for respected journals, including Information Technology for Development, Information Systems Management, and EJISDC.
Major institutions, including the European Commission, the National Centre for Research and Development, and the State Committee for Scientific Research in Poland, have funded her projects. Her academic and clinical work reflects a commitment to integrating depth psychological insight with contemporary social and technological challenges.
