Giedre Bulotiene is a psychiatrist and Jungian analyst, as well as a member of the Lithuanian Association of Analytical Psychology. She has a private practice in Vilnius and also serves as a consultant at the Lithuanian National Cancer Center, where she has been working with cancer patients for many years. One of her primary areas of interest is psychotherapy for individuals facing cancer. In 2020, Giedre Bulotiene published an article titled "Archetypal Images Emerging in the Therapy of Lithuanian Cancer Patients" in the Journal of Analytical Psychology. She presents a report titled "Unconscious Images as Initiation into the Mystery of Death" at the XXIII International Congress of Analytical Psychology in Zurich.
