Dr. Lin Ye

Dr. Lin Ye (Ph.D., M.S., M.P.H.) is a psychodynamically-oriented counseling psychologist, serving as a clinician, supervisor, lecturer, and mental health volunteer. She holds multiple professional qualifications:

  • Certified Sandplay Therapist and Teaching Member of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy (ISST) and the China Society for Sandplay Therapy (CSST)
  • Provisional Individual Member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP)
  • Licensed Counseling Psychologist
  • Senior Executive in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
  • International Member of the American Psychological Association (APA)
  • Forest Therapist in training(designing & providing nature-based therapy to improve wellbeing)

Dr. Lin Ye has clinical experience across psychiatric hospitals, schools, and diverse mental health settings. She currently provides individual and group therapy, clinical supervision, and professional training through psychiatric clinics, institutes of analytical psychology, counseling organizations, social welfare institutions, non-profit organizations, and private practice. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lin Ye has long been engaged in research on mother–daughter relationships and the mother complex, female individuation, attachment dynamics, sandplay therapy and symbolic processes, and the connection between psyche and nature. She has published a series of peer-reviewed papers and presented at international conferences.
