Pilar Amezaga & Misser Berg - IAAP Training WP - Training Models
One of the IAAP's central missions is to foster the study of Analytical Psychology, disseminate its insights, and ensure that high standards of training, professional practice, and ethical conduct are upheld throughout our community. As a worldwide organization, the IAAP is continuously evolving to meet the needs of our time.
At the start of this administration, it became clear that the overview of the trainings within the IAAP needed to be revisited. The landscape of analyst training is changing, and it is crucial that we reflect together on these developments.
This initiative is mainly intended for analysts interested in exchanging perspectives on training models. To that end, we will begin by sharing the results of a survey conducted among all IAAP groups with training status. This survey presents a comparative overview of training programs across our organisation.
The findings not only offer a snapshot of how training is currently being implemented—within its diverse social and national contexts—but also reveal changes and challenges that have emerged over the past decade. We hope this will serve as a foundation for rich dialogue and meaningful collaboration that we hope will continue in future administrations.
